A few days ago, Tess over at Anchors and Masts (link to the right) shared her Harvest dreamboard with all of us. Not being quite sure what a dreamboard was, I wandered over to Jamie Ridler Studios http://jamieridlerstudios.ca/full-moon-dreamboard-the-full-harvest-moon to check it out. My own dream board emerged while on pilgrimage yesterday. What I love about the process of visual art is that nothing really needs to be said about it, nothing has to be figured out. I share this dreamboard with you as an expression of my journey. I'm not sure what it says, what it is supposed to mean. I do know that when I look at it, I feel happy and light. May you all have something in your life today that makes you feel the same way.

Hello, Rebecca, I have seen your gentle posts on the blogs but only today found your dazzling darkness!
Dreamboards and all collage fascinate me too. I have never made one, but I like to "read" them like tea leaves, and I know whatever I see is really rooted in my own heart. My heart is a happy place, the deeper the happier, so I like to get drawn in there. This dreamboard of yours opens wide the door! Thank you so much.
Rebecca I absolutely love it when you say that you don't know exactly what your dreamboard means or that anything has to be said about it. It is so important for us to GET THAT. I, who am so used to explaining, spent more of the morning gazing. Thanks. I want to make a dreamboard but at the moment I am striking things off my list and the dreamboar is not yet on it; oh my -- why can't I just spend time creating? No answer need. Thanks for the treasures you bring.
Oh, Rebecca,
I was just going to ask you to tell us about it...lol! Not necessary! It is a blazing glory of wonder...I will say that!
Thank you fro sharing, dear person!
Love,
Suz
Hi Kigen, So nice to have you here. I think that I have seen you around the blog world. Have I seen you at the poetry party? Tess's, Sunrise sister, Lucy's? All the above? : )
Yes, other people's art can speak just as deeply to us as our own. I'm so happy that doors are opening. (Open doors is very prominent in internal imaging for me right now.)
I'm intrigued by your website. I've never exposed myself much to Emily Dickinson. Love....
Macrina, I did some "gazing" of my own today. An early, gloomy morning, almost all of the leaves gone from the trees, easy rain, breathing in the gentle air. And then, I found myself THINKING about what it all meant. Oh no.....
Love....
Suz, When I first sat down to my computer, I was going to have YOU tell me about my dreamboard. LOL-er! But then I realized I didn't want anything said about it and certainly not be me. : ) Thanks for attending to it with me. Love....
Rebecca, I'm so delighted you've discovered this process of dreamboarding. Yours is beautiful and, er, dreamy. Your words "nothing has to be figured out" are so right for this process.
PS: I just looked closely at the large version of this and spotted for the first time the two climbing figures on the left - wonderful!
Tess, Yes, I like this two little mountain climbers. They remind me to live in the tension between where I am and where I want to be. I like the way the one that is "behind" is always supporting the one that goes ahead. : )
Here's a funny one. I didn't know that I could make it bigger! Now I will have a lot more fun observing other people's art. I have been doing a lot of squinting! : )
Rebecca, yes now and then all of the above! I think I got here from Lucy, touched (almost called) by a comment you had there recently on travelling to Ireland, Africa and your own room. Also what an incredible title for your blog! It is a transformative! thought Dickinson would love. Look forward to reading you often.
this is so interesting to me. I am going to have to do some searching about this topic. I love the colors and the girl with her back to us.
R - do I remember that you were the one at the "Awakening....." workshop that shied away from the collage/creativity session? I think so?!
This collage is terrific and the fact that it just IS is the best!!!!
I love the colors, the whole thing!
I almost missed seeing this post, so glad I didn't.
Nichol, Yes, I think that I put the link in, didn't I? I can see you having a LOT of fun with this. I think that there are ways that you can gather images online (which you are very good at) and making collage that way. If you find out how to do that, let me know! There is a tiny word next to that woman looking away, it says "wonder". I love it!
Hey SS, I can't remember if I am the one that avoided collage at that retreat. I know that I didn't do a ton of it, but I am looking at a piece that I right now that I made there. I really love it. But, I AM the person who was very resistant to WRITING at that stage of the game. Felt that I had nothing to say in print. And YOU were the one who said, "Write! Write! You have to write!" Well, I am a little slow, but here we are. Isn't it fun? : )
I mean what do I need to learn? I've searched up on websites like forex for noobs or baby forex (a site for forex newbie like myself..) but I failed to understand what the heck they're talking about so basically I figured out that I'm missing something what do I need to learn before learning forex trading?
